Six Essential Golfing Habits of Strong Golfers

Picture this:

You're standing on that first tee box, your muscles feeling supple yet strong. Gone are the days of needing those initial holes to "warm up." This immediately saves you 2, 5, or sometimes even 7 strokes per round. Unlike your fellow flight partners, your swing feels both loose and controlled. The opening holes are no longer a struggle, disappointment, or source of pain, but rather moments of pure joy.

Here's to the new season filled with victories, hope, and laughter... from the very first swing to the final putt! And this is how to set the stage, creating the conditions for these experiences to unfold sooner or later:

  • Warming Up: Warm up to swing, never swing to warm up!

  • Stretches: In-between and post-round stretching can make all the difference. Don't stretch to warm up.

  • Hydration: Switch out any soda, sports of caffeinated beverages for small sips of water throughout the round.

  • Golf Trolley: Whoever spread the word that carrying a golf bag is more professional wasn't informed at all. It may boost the ego but does little to improve the swing and sets a precedent for damaging the lower back.

  • Nutrition: If you want to drive an F1 race car, fuel it like one.

  • Golf dog: Bring along anything that helps you reduce stress and gives you a sense of calmness. Great golf isn't just a matter of scoring.

You're always just one click, one breath, one training away:

Keep Strong!
